Barnes & Noble Will Close 15 Stores By Fiscal Year End

B&N’s second quarter filing revealed the bookstore chain’s plans to close 15 stores by April, Publishers Weekly reports. A spokesperson told PW, it will open “a few retail stores in new geographic markets, [but] the company expects to reduce the total number of retail stores.” B&N also indicated it will off load online platform Tikatok which it bought for $2.3million in December 2009.
