Simon & Schuster Has Entered the Self-Publishing Business

Self-published authors and writers exploring the self-publishing option can now take advantage of the expertise of publishing heavyweight Simon & Schuster. The publishing house has partnered with Author Solutions, Inc to form Archway Publishing. Archway will offer self-publishing services and guidances. According to Publishers Weekly, if you send an unsolicited manuscript to S&S, it will be referred to Archway. Pricing is reported as follows:

Fiction & Non-Fiction: $1,999 to $14,999; Children’s: $1,599 to $8,499; Business: $2,199 to $24,999
