The Fifty Shades trilogy hits stores in hardcover on January 29th
E.L. James’ Fifty Shades trilogy has had quite the publishing journey. The first book in the viral series started out as self-published fan fiction, then as a traditionally published trade paperback that sold so well Random House blessed all full-time employees with a $5K Christmas bonus. Now, it will be released in hardcover on January 29th.
USA Today reports, “Doubleday will release 200,000 copies of Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed in hardback for $26.95 each. There also will be a shrink-wrapped set of the three books for $80.85.”
Will you buy the hardcover even though you already have the paperback?
